ResicareSA is a registered plan manager working across Adelaide and country South Australia — Gawler, Mount Barker, the Copper Coast and the north among them. Plan management is funded separately by the NDIA and takes nothing from your other budgets. It also does not tie you to us: a plan-managed participant can use any provider, and plenty of the people whose plans we manage receive no other support from us.
Plan management is the financial side of your NDIS plan. We receive invoices from your providers, check them against the NDIS Price Guide and your plan, claim from the NDIA, and pay them — so you are not chasing paperwork or paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement.
Being plan managed means you can use both NDIS-registered and unregistered providers, which is a wider choice than agency management gives you. Plan management funding is requested separately in your plan and does not come out of the budget for your other supports — so it costs you nothing in support hours.
You get a clear statement of what has been spent and what is left, so you can see well before a plan review whether a budget is going to run short. If you would rather see it monthly, we will send it monthly.
You can ask for plan management at your planning meeting or plan review, and you do not have to use us for any other support to use us for this.
