Medium Term Accommodation while your long-term home is arranged
Medium Term Accommodation is the NDIS funding for a place to live while a long-term home is being arranged: a hospital discharge with nowhere ready, a wait for SDA, or home modifications that make the usual home unliveable for a while. It is generally funded for up to 90 days, and support during the stay is funded separately.
Every home below is listed for MTA. A room shows as vacant only when confirmed by our housing team.
Questions about MTA vacancies
Who approves MTA?
The NDIA, as part of your plan or through a change-of-circumstances request. It is usually approved when a long-term home has been confirmed but is not yet ready. Your support coordinator or our intake team can help with the evidence.
Can an MTA stay turn into a permanent room?
Sometimes. If the home suits you and a long-term room is available, the move can be made permanent with the right funding in place. We will say early if that is realistic.
