SIL vacancies in Adelaide and regional South Australia
Every home below is one ResicareSA runs and staffs. A room shows as vacant only when our housing team has confirmed it; otherwise it says waitlist or full. SIL funds the support in the home, not the rent, so you need SIL in your plan (or a home and living request under way) to take a room.
If nothing fits today, leave your email further down and we will tell you when a room opens, with photos and the details. Support coordinators placing clients use this most.
Questions about SIL vacancies
How do I know a SIL vacancy is genuine?
Each card shows the status our housing team last saved, and the page says when that was. A home with a room free says so with a count; one we have not confirmed says "call for availability" rather than guessing.
Do I need SIL funding before I enquire?
No. Many people enquire while a home and living request is still with the NDIA. Tell us where it is up to and we will say honestly whether a room could be held and for how long.
What does the rent cover in a SIL home?
Rent is per room, per fortnight, and the home page lists what it includes, such as utilities, internet and gardening where they apply. Rent is paid from your own income, not from NDIS funding. SIL funding pays for the support workers.
Can I visit before deciding?
Always. A visit and a meet with the household and the staff on shift happens before anything is signed, and compatibility is decided together with the people already living there.
