SDA vacancies across South Australia
These are enrolled Specialist Disability Accommodation dwellings. SDA funding in your plan pays for the building; the support inside it is funded separately through SIL or your own arrangement. Each home page lists its SDA design category, which has to match the category in your plan.
Several of these homes are also available as SIL or as short-term and medium-term accommodation, which is noted on the card. Vacancies are confirmed by our housing team before they are shown with a count.
Questions about SDA vacancies
What SDA design categories do you have?
Improved Liveability, Fully Accessible, Robust and High Physical Support homes, depending on the property. The category is on each home's page. If your plan funds a different category, ask: a home can sometimes be used at a lower category.
Can I live in your SDA home with a different SIL provider?
Yes. SDA and SIL are separate decisions under the NDIS. Every ResicareSA home is staffed by ResicareSA by default, and we will tell you if a particular home can take a bring-your-own-support arrangement.
How is SDA rent worked out?
SDA tenants pay a reasonable rent contribution set by the NDIS rules, generally a share of the Disability Support Pension plus Commonwealth Rent Assistance. The home page shows the amount and what it includes.
